Strumming Patterns

What are they for?

In order to add a little variety to your guitar playing, we use different strumming patterns.

Strumming Patterns are a series of upstrokes and downstrokes a guitar player uses when strumming the guitar. Depending on the variation of each pattern, it keeps your sound fresh and gives you options when playing new songs.

A Down Stroke(strumming down)
has the symbol:

An Up Stroke(strumming up)
has the symbol:
